Anyone have experience ordering from Tactical Imports? I just bought the Type 81 and did not opt for shipping insurance. Should I have?

did not opt for shipping insurance

Even here in the US, the seller is responsible for getting your package to you one way or another. If they don't buy insurance, that's on them. It's part of running a business. Don't let a business tell you they're not responsible for lost or stolen packages; they are. Shipping insurance is a borderline scam at this point. If you paid with a credit card, it's easy to file a chargeback if you don't get what you paid for. It's a last resort obviously, but it's an important option. You should be able to do the same with a debit card or bank account but it's more of a hassle.

I remembered there was a slight delay with TI sending them out with last batch due to massive ordering. But I haven't heard anything with shipping issues.

Previous package I got from TI was good, so I probably wouldn't need it, but I always pay for shipping insurance just in case.
