I feel like they are slowing the process on purpose. The duration of time that has passed from the time I completed my CFSC/CRFSC until now which is “initial review completed” message is really absurd. And it’s sad there’s no recourse, they can just make us wait and wait and wait. Ontario CFO

Maybe, but sharply increasing wait times is what happens when queues get overloaded. Understaffed, high volume, no business pressure to improve... it's the recipe for slow service times.

If that's the case then how are people who had their application in April and May already getting approved but many of us from 2021 and February 2022 still waiting?

Sorry, I don’t understand what you’re saying here. All I know is I’m one of those that’s been waiting since I sent mine in and that was February this year. It’s BS for taking that long.

I agree, at what point does it become neglect I mean we’re all tax paying citizens and this is a government funded dept.

I'm sure they're underfunded and understaffed and there was a COVID delay so it's understandable, what's not understandable is processing people out of order. Like there's absolutely no reason why someone from 2021 should still be waiting if 2022 applications are getting approved
