Is there any written proof that all of the handgun transfers being placed currently will still be honoured if a handgun freeze comes into effect? Sold a gun in Ontario and not sure if I should be nervously holding onto the funds for the next 5 months while transfer goes through to avoid having to scrape the money together in the future if they decided not to honour it in the end.
