Weekly Newbies & FAQ Thread - Post your questions here for PAL/RPAL application, timelines, CFSC/CFSRC, references & requirements, or general new to firearms ownership -type questions

This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Hmm, I'll stick with range targets at the start. Range bag... defer for a bit and use a couple of duffels. I do need to get a couple of hard cases for transport, and probably an ammo box to keep organized.

I hadn't thought about gloves, but I expect to have a couple of
revolvers. Might not be a bad idea to hands cleaner and more lead-free.

I do wear glasses (high index, not shatterproof though). I'll have to
see how these, over-glasses protection, and ear muffs are going to work
out for me. I suppose I can go to Cabelas and try some of their
in-stock gear, and see if anything fits well.

Hearing protection wise the peletor sport headsets are great esp if you get the gel inserts
