This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

What exactly are the rules on storing NR guns?

If I have my guns unloaded and put in a metal cabinet with a lock in the cabinet is that okay? And what about ammo?

I feel sometimes people tend to forget the stuff once they done the course.

Of course it's hard to say if you don't have any firearm until recently even having a PAL for a while.
