Anyone having a delay in receiving their ATT And registration papers after the transfer?

I got the transfer approval email a week ago but apparently I’m waiting for papers in the mail now that I can’t bring my guns anywhere without? How long does this usually take?

Depends on how busy the government is. I’ve had to wait almost 3-4 weeks before but at least the transfer is done

Wow okay. So another wait. First time buying so I didn’t know this. Somehow the transfer let me take them home but I can’t take them back to the range to shoot! Makes no sense but, government

Your restricted license itself carries the conditions and the ATT between the range and your place of residence which also has to come in the mail before you can go take the restricted to the range. Normally they come together with the registration certificate but it could be delayed lately. You’ll only get a new license issued for your first restricted purchase.

Edit: spelling

So if it’s been 2 weeks since I got my transfer email with no papers in sight, at what point should I call the CFO? My card got lost in the mail and I waited 2 months to ask about it because I assumed there were delays (this was in the winter)

Maybe 1 month? I mean if you really wanted to you could try and email them but they’re going to be slammed so like..

Chances of a card being lost like that again imho is really low and was likely a one off occurrence. I’ve had to wait 1 month before last year just for the registration, even after the ATT was issued.

Okay. I’m getting so impatient because it will be months of paying for a membership at a range I can’t use (needed to buy membership to make the purchase of course). I’m definitely overthinking it because of the card thing. Good to know this is normal even though it sucks. The transfer time is what probably wasn’t normal (but is now)
