Is 7months wait normal for waiting for a PAL to come in?

Submitted my shit 7 months ago and haven’t heard back since. Should I try and get in contact with them? Or is this normal? I’d love to be able to buy a gun before all of them are banned lol

I am following timeframe that people have been posting it looks like that 4 months is the time frame for application received till feb...3 months for the CC to be charged and 4-5 weeks after that...i would say you need to contact your MP...and keep fingers crossed that horse police replies back to MP..😂😂

If your credit card was charged call your CFO.

Mine was charged as soon as they got the paperwork even though the sent the paperwork back to me because it was missing a signature, seemingly wasn’t looked and signed off until months later and then the first card was lost in the mail.

Same boat as you. Dec 14 received, cc charge January 27. Contacted rcmp in April said it was at CFO. Contacted CFO in May got generic it's in question to be reviewed. Emailed my MP end of June they said not much they can do. Than got an email again from MP on Monday asking for all my information and letting them call on my behalf. Hopefully after 7 months them contacting will push it to the finish line.

7 months? That's a very very long time... Sigh, I was just starting out and hoping to get a hand gun before it's banned. At this speed it looks like it's impossible for me then.
