So I’ve been waiting over a month now for a transfer for a purchase made on June 3rd. I called cabelas and asked them and I asked if they are getting any more handguns in. The lady say they’re first shipment was completely sold out and so was their second. She’s says it’s unlikely they will get more before the end of the year. So that’s sucks.

Cabelas has had stock at various stores or online almost this entire time, at this exact moment they don’t appear to, but they are definitely restocking as shipments come in. Also price was on the higher side but sales could be really good, and they’re not price gouging so some of the prices are now the same/on the lower end.

What Province are you in? It took me three weeks in Alberta to get my transfer approved (yesterday). Ontario was 4 weeks before the surge, so who knows what it might be now.

Mine (Ontario) was purchased may 31st at 3pm, they didn't submit it until the morning of June 1st. Still waiting as well.

Wife bought hers online may 31st in the evening and she too is waiting.

Call the Alberta CFO's office (ex. 9026). They can probably finalize the transfer while you are on the phone.
