Last week the CFO in Alberta called me and told me my PAL application could take a year because of the backlog. Government efficiency at its best.

What the context? Did you send the application in yesterday or 6 months ago? Did they say where the backlog was? With the Federal side or with the AB CFO?

Sorry I mistyped it was last week on Thursday. She said the delay was on the federal side. I called them to confirm it had been received and not lost in the mail. I submitted it mid April.

No unfortunately that’s why I don’t know if they even received it. At least then I could check on it online.
