Someone's gonna tell you that you're wrong and that the Liberals have our best interests in mind lel

Unfortunately, I think it's just the fact that a lot of people don't know how far C21 goes or how much damage it's going to do. I don't mean this as an insult to anyone, but people tend to live in a sort of bubble. For example, they own lever action and bolt action guns and maybe a modern replica of a Colt Single Action Army. Maybe they even own BB guns or make their own 3D prop replicas. They hear about C21, and they think "it's only about assault rifles and modern handguns. I don't like those things so I'm fine with it". They don’t realize C21 even affects their lever action and bolt action rifles or that the Colt SAA they own would be covered under the handgun freeze and yes, the Liberals eventually want to ban that Colt SAA too. People don’t realize their BB guns are being banned or that the movie props they print are being banned too. If they teach their child how to use a 3D printer by printing out some harmless prop replica, they’ve just created a prohibited device and they’re now breaking the law. It's worse with people who don't own guns at all, they don't realize they're giving up their rights let alone realize how far C21 goes. They think they're doing something good and that everyone will be better off without guns. They can’t see any further than that. They don’t realize they’re giving up their own rights and giving up their children’s rights to lawful activities that exist even outside of owning or using real guns and they don't realize C21 will have absolutely no effect on illegal guns including guns smuggled into the country. They hear "ban and freeze" and they think this will end gun crime forever. We all know that's not true but it's really hard to make a lot of people see that.

No, people are aware. The media has made sure of that fact but most liberal voters don't care they're ruining other people's lives

I would say 5% of Canadian gun owners are aware of what C-21 is capable of doing to their firearms. Maybe 30-40% know that it exists period, and substantially less understand what it will do to their lever gun/duck gun mag tube.
