You were robbed. There is no reason to deny you the opportunity, and it's being taken away from you by disgusting, sociopathic politicians that are doing it purely for their own advancement. I feel incredibly lucky that I just happened to get into guns before this happened, so that I already have a handgun.

Don't give up, though. The political pendulum is always swinging, and these clowns have had the reigns for seven years now. Their time is almost up. When the Conservatives retake power, we can have them repeal this, just like we repealed registration. You might have to wait longer than you should, but I'm confident you haven't lost your chance forever.

It seems like that pendulum swing gets further each time it swings. Maybe once it goes back to conservative we can push for property rights and a reform of the firearms act into something that wasn't written by an anti-gun lobby group.
