I purchased on June 1st, so I guess 7 business days if you choose to count my 10am purchase day lol but definitely will keep you in the loop!

Interesting you just came to ask! I’m actually in the process of calling them right now! I still haven’t received any contact from them yet! I have however gotten a range membership in hopes when I call them they’ll speed it along when I inform them of the membership…

Right on. I emailed the Sask cfo June 7th just asking if they could tell me approx wait time, they just told me to call Miramichi so whoever answered seemingly doesn’t know it also goes to each province cfo for final approval…

So I just spoke with them on the phone (surprisingly zero wait time I got thru right away). I asked in regards to my wait time and they stated that it would be “unfair” to give a time frame as to when it’ll be processed because they’re so backed up. They mentioned that however if the purchase day was June 1st the wait time should be almost up due to where they’re in the “processing”. However… she did mention one kicker… she says as of lately they’ve been mailing the approval letters and certificates for the firearm via Canada post. So we may of entered a whole different game…

Edit/follow-up: they did say to email proof of range membership to them. I have the email if you need it!

They told me the email to send my range membership info too. I just now sent it and the email bounced back saying the email was bad… oh CFO why do you do this to me?🥲

🤦 is this your first restricted? They just approved my first for me on the May 18th so they should have it on file one would think… the email I used which got me a response in a day was sfpinfo@gov.sk.ca so give that a try if it’s different than you used. They also emailed me the approval, but again that was before June. No idea why they would switch to mailing a billion things instead of a simple email… I thought it was awesome having our own Sask cfo but they seem to be unnecessarily making things more difficult… bc and Ab have seen transfers from as late as June 4th already…

I am starting to wish our CFO was as good as BC/Ab. I really don’t understand though what the point is. I’ve been hearing time and time again it’s an email, until today?

Yeah this is my first restricted! I decided to buy before they make it impossible to buy. I always intended on buying someday but the freeze made my one day a little bit sooner lol.

On another note: what did you buy in may? What are you waiting on now? Just out of curiosity

I got the sig because it just looks and feels fucking awesome in the hand, wanted a 22, a big fuck off revolver and an “it just works good” Glock
