So I was notified to my PAL paper work was recieved April 11th (I was told to check on it 2 months in), and have been trying to check the status on their online tool, but every time I try it says that there is no applicant with that information in the system. Am I entering my info wrong? Is it case sensitive? Is there a particular format I should be entering my place of birth info in? Or does that simply mean that they haven't even looked at the application yet? I've tried calling them but everytime I'm on hold for awhile then get a message saying that they are experiencing technical difficulties and get hung up on.

It will show after your credit card is charged.

Ahh ya I paid via money order, so unfortunately I can't gauge the progress that way.

You most likely have a month-6 weeks to go before it shows up online. Once your card is charged, you’ll be able to login.

Oh right on, that's not too bad I guess. Do they tend to issue the license pretty quickly after it reaches that point?

Unsure really. I’m still waiting for mine. I was charged and viewable online may 18th. Still no change to the status. I’ve seen some posts here lately from people that are close to my timing and theirs were approved this week. Hoping I see that next week.

Ahh well I hope you get it soon man! Once they get it in their system do they post notify immediately when it has been approved, and when they actually mail it?

As far as I know, yes. Then it’s about 1-2 weeks for the card to show up in the mail.

Right on, 1-2 weeks isn't too bad at all!

I did mine on November, and within a week, they had updated that they have recieved my paperwork and did an initial review. Hasn't changed since, and I still haven't received my PAL/RPAL

Yea I'm getting so nervous. With this hand gun ban, and then who knows how many semi autos are going to get banned with this bill

No doubt man, I've been only looking at things that have 5 round magazines or less myself, not getting my hopes up for anything too awesome. Dunno how true the rumours of upcoming magazine limits for long guns are, but I'd hate to buy something just for it to become illegal to bring to the range right after I pick it up.
