How do I get ahold of the CFO to initiate a restricted transfer? I call the number, go through the menu, and it just tells me they're too busy and hangs up. Is there an alternate method or any tricks I'm missing?

Having the same issue. I've called in about 40 times in the past two days and can't get through.

Ya I haven't had any luck in 4 days. They just hang up. Doesn't make any sense. What do we pay you for

There is an alternate method (mailing in form RCMP 5492), but to access that form you need to call the same number as the telephone transfer so...

Maybe instead of calling the CFP number you could try to contact your provincial CFO directly, but I've never done this so I don't know if it would give you better results or if they'd just tell you to call the 1-800 number instead and keep trying.
