This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

I figured as much but thought I’d ask anyways in case they weren’t. Mine is Liberal…so I don’t think a phone call to mine will help much if it comes to that lol. Anyways, congrats on getting your PAL!

Congrats my dude! If you don't mind me asking, how long did you wait to contact your MP? I'm in the same province, checked mental health too and my application was received November 22nd.

Edit: though I'm probably SOL with the MP route. Ottawa is Liberal.
