Ok so I have a question. What things could delay processing of a PAL application? I've crossed my t's and dotted my i's, got all my references, made sure my picture size was the exact measurents requested, etc. I'm only sitting at 5 weeks so I know I just passed the minimum time of 28 days before they even look at it but yeah.

govt incompetence. Took them 7 months to approve my RPAL when I already had a PAL (which took 8 months to get)

yea with the increase in RPAL im expecting mine to take bout a year. took them 9 months for my PAL. kinda insane really. if i was to start over from nothing and go to RPAL it could easily take over two years now
