Ontario: I will be attending PAL and RPAL courses this weekend, what are the chances I will be able to get my PAL & RPAL licenses and to be able to purchase a restricted hand gun before the ban? Looks like I will be cutting it very close.

I am getting photo taken this week and paperwork pre filled.

Probably won't make it. The fastest you can get it is 4 months.

It's dicey, it will be a few months minimum to get your license. Then you would have to wait for a transfer to go through which right now there are huge backlogs.

I’m in the same boat as you but only difference is my application was received 2 weeks ago.

There’s no hurt trying, if by a miracle the bill is delayed, we might have more time.

If it doesn’t turn out then at least you will have the RPAL for if/when things might change again.
