So, I called, and got transferred to the Ontario CFO, and because I checked the box about mental health, the mailed me a form to get signed by a doctor. Have my appointment this Thursday, so hopefully that’s all that’s required. I was hoping to be ready for deer season this fall.
I have PTSD. It’s been 11 years since diagnoses, and 8 years since I finished treatment, I’m on a minor amount of medication.
What really bites my ass about all of this (I went to Afghanistan with the Canadian Armed Forces) is that the government seen fit to allow me to be in possession of prohibited devices and firearms after I got diagnosed between 2010 and 2015 before I retired, but now they’re not sure 🤣🤣
