Weekly Newbies Thread - Post your questions here for PAL/RPAL application, timelines, CFSC/CFSRC, references & requirements, or general new to firearms ownership -type questions

This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

If you go to a shoppers drug mart and tell them its for a PAL photo they will know the dimensions you need and print you out the right photo.

the passport centre inside a my local UPS also knew exactly what dimensions I needed as well if that helps at all

Maybe but if you show them the requirements you should be good but I'd call ahead and ask if the will take a photo for your pal
