im not to good on the terminology was what they where doing with the sg550's illegal?

Someone imported a "Classic Green (PE-90)" which was a converted auto SG550, which shouldn't be possible because it implied that Classic Green Rifles were infact SG550 variants (prohib by name). The importers and Swiss Arms claimed 12 years ago that the PE-90 was not a variant of the 550 but a separately developed rifle based on the SG540 series.

An investigation was opened a few months ago and now according to the facebook post the PE-90 was found to be a 550 variant.

and it was TSE who told the rcmp to look into it?

well guys i guess we found the canadian equivalent to cheaper than dirt. i know where im never shopping agian

The story is:

TSE had a rifle brought in for service by a customer that purchased it elsewhere.

When they opened up the rifle, they knew something wasn't right, reported it to the RCMP.

The retailer who brought in the other rifles and sold them was his old partner that he had a rift with.

At least 3 rifles were found to have been converted from full-auto 550s by the RCMP.

and it wasent hurting anyone.

thats even worse so he fucked over the classic green owners because of the personal grudge against the seller
