I can't say I'm too surprised at this turn of events, sadly. Next thing you know, they'll be going after Valmets, Kriss Vectors and others.

Fortunately the Valmets are untouchable given that the government themselves handed them out by the truckload to Inuit in the 80s. If they go after those it wouldn't be hard to disparage them for assaulting First Nations' ways of life.

But its not the government that wants them gone, its the RCMP

But the RCMP doesn't have the authority to do this kind of thing. It is the Government, specifically the Department of Public Safety.

So yes, the Government does want them gone, and in the case of the Swiss Arms classic, they got their wish.

Then show me the legislation that gives the RCMP the authority to create or edit regulations.
