Without the LGR how will they be able to find the owners?

Some people are saying that the RCMP has actually kept the data, with allegations that the High River Gun Grab was based on that information.

If they kept the information, which is highly unlikely because it was supposed to be destroyed, by now it would be so inaccurate and so obsolete it would be useless.

There is currently a lawsuit spooling up from the NFA (or CSSA) that claims to have about a dozen instances of recent LGR data usage and they are going to court to prove it.
