Just another reason why we need a NR, semi-auto "black rifle" that's made in Canada by a Canadian company.

Any hack-job idiot can bang out an AR and put it together, and YAY, one more restricted black rifle on the market. I like the AR and firmly believe that more AR's in more hands is an excellent thing; but we need someone to step up to the plate and make something that couldn't ever even be conceived as being made from a F/A receiver.

The 180 design isn't copyrighted any longer (AFAIK). We should be banging those out with Canadian-specific milled receivers like rice from a paddy.

If I had the means, I'd do it.

We need somebody to make the receivers here, or at least import semi-auto only receivers. Technically they only have to turn in a stripped receiver, right?
