Without the LGR how will they be able to find the owners?

Some people are saying that the RCMP has actually kept the data, with allegations that the High River Gun Grab was based on that information.

If they kept the information, which is highly unlikely because it was supposed to be destroyed, by now it would be so inaccurate and so obsolete it would be useless.

Unless a person moved. The guns may not be there but the people will be.

What do you mean? If guns have been traded and sold around (which they have been), the registry information is useless.

But they still searched a bunch of those houses despite the fact that their may or may not be any guns anymore.

Oh you mean the High River stuff? That was completely different because everyone was evacuated. Different circumstances. I'm talking about the current issue with the Swiss (or any other gun they want to grab which is non-restricted).
