This is the thing people won't realize and just want to blame the RCMP for the reclassification. This is 100% TSE's fault and they should bear the brunt of the complaints.

The issue with that is that directing your anger towards TSE won't fix anything, whereas getting angry at the RCMP and Federal Government may have some effect.

The most recent ones:

  • a guy ordered 129lbs worth of bullets for reloading (5000 of them if memory serves) and when they came, the boxes inside a big box containing the bullets were beaten up, loose, etc, some of the bullets were just in bags, and thousands had come loose and mixed together (different calibers). Everyone accused Marstar of shipping it incorrectly, although UPS shipped it and God knows they've broken things and repackaged them shittily.

  • This post was quickly deleted, but some guy accused Marstar employees of meeting him in a field and selling him a Benelli M4 with counterfeit/off brand parts.

  • there was a bawww thread about wanting John to stay since he posted he instructed his employees to reconsider participating on CGN.

Sounds like typical CGN drama, the meeting in a field would make me skepical to say the least.

Luckily I never have bought from marstar, probably because their ordering system has been nonexistant up until recently, they would rarely respond to questions, and less than 5% of their site is in-stock. It's basically just clickbait, I don't even bother to check anymore since so much of it hasn't been in stock for the last 4 years.

Unfortunately it's Calgary Shooting Centre which will end up bearing the brunt of this. I suspect they will be liable for compensating owners since they were in the importers.

The Shooting Edge raised the complaint with the RCMP but they aren't exposed - unless people stop shopping there.
