Don't be so fucking naive. Sorry to sound like an ass, but I'm mad. There will be no prohib licences given out.

Just wondering. But yes it's very sad that it came to this. Just because its green/black rifle it's automatically evil by the gun grabbers

Someone mentioned in another thread that grandfathering was a one-time deal so that gun owners didn't/wouldn't get upset when they reclassified a bunch of guns. Now they're at it again =\

Also, its not because its Green\Black. That's just the name of the line. The real reason is because 1 example of that gun, which was a variant, was illegally modified and was reported to the RCMP by a store owner who had it in his possession. Queue the RCMP looking into the line of guns, doing half-assed work and forcing gun owners to prove to the RCMP that the guns aren't a danger to society rather than doing that themselves (It's not their job... right?) and you've got this whole story. Edit I am paraphrasing the whole affair.

Thanks for the explanation. I was wondering about grandfathering because I have a buddy who I go shooting with who owns a Classic Green. I guess he's completely screwed now! And I feel extremely mad because a) The RCMP runs like a dicatorship and can ban anything on the spot b) The gun is $3000 and there's 0 compensation.
