Fix my gun / Modding Need help sourcing part for TM22 Pro

Post image

I’m looking for something like this (picture) does anyone have a source for something like it? Buffer tube to pic rail? I want to be able to use a mil-spec stock and I have the Midwest industries picatinny buffer tube already, just need a means to use it on the tm22 pro. Thanks for the help!

Strike Industries has one: SI-AR-PSA-BK. Out of stock at RDSC and AZTech unfortunately.

Sweet thanks I’ll look more into that, I see some people are able to just swap out the tube for mil-spec? You know how to go about that?

I have an older TM22, and I think you need to file down a part of the gun. There are supposedly instructions online, but I couldn't find a clear set, so I never got around to it.

It might be cheaper and easier just to swap to a mil-spec tube or find a com-spec stock.

That’s kinda what I’m finding as I’m searching around

You just unscrew the comm-spec one and screw in a mil spec one.

For reference mine’s a tm22-12 pro.

I got a milspec tube and new endplate for $55 for mine.

Edit: wrong price

Where’d you get yours? End plate is aluminum?

Tna,  they make a metal endplate for milspec and include a washer to do the toonie mod

Would you happen to have a link? I tried searching on their site before but can’t find it, probably searching the wrong thing

Looks like it's discontinued now, unfortunate, I want a turn key solution too.

I do see there are 3D printed endplates available, so that could be a cheap option.

That sucks, can always file out the original

Is that all I’d have to do really? If I go that route won’t need to use a toonie or whatever?

Should still do the toonie/washer mod. But the endplate can be filed out to fit a milspec tube

Do you know where I could find like a step by step on this process?
