Fix my gun / Modding Best gunsmith we got for repairs?

Screwed up revolver reassembly, bent the sear and loosened the trigger group. Do we have anyone that welds, fabricates parts and anything in between? Universal gunsmith of sorts that will do everything so I don't need several people.

Location kinda matters for this one unless you're driving across the country

I have found most people accept shipping methods so I was asking broadly

What kind of revolver are we talking? Modern or antique? Antique would narrow your results a lot. But there are a few around like Rusty Wood and some other ones that work with antiques a lot (but you'd have to find those by calling around). I know rustywood makes new barrels and parts for antique revolvers for a pretty penny. Your best bet is calling around and asking the gunsmith themselves what they are capable of working on.

6" Lightning Express Iver Johnson antique. I found the guy at Rusty Wood to be a dick and would rather not deal with him. Hanged up on me over the phone because he did not want to answer my question, and then banned from his online store because apparently I wasted time cancelling an invoice. Gun is absolutely perfect condition aside from what I buggered up.

One possibility might be to ask a machine shop that specializes in custom fabrication work. They could probably make a new sear or trigger for you especially if they had the old parts for reference. You could also get some blank material and get really good with layouting and filing. I am not a gunsmith by trade, but I have done some gunsmithing in addition to machining. Have you looked online for parts for places that also ship to Canada? Do you have an American friend or relative you can have the parts mailed to and then have them send you them?

Problem with old guns is that they were never fitted the exact same for each manufactured firearm, so even with replacements, it would have to be re-adjusted. This is also apparently a very rare model, so I am quite tilted at myself. I do have friends in the states, guess that means avoiding the big fee you usually get with importers?

these are essentially hand fitted parts. so, in bending the sear, did you also damage the hand? this is important as this times your cylinder. I ask as there are gunsmiths and then there are ones that can time these once the sear / hand interplay is looked at.

where are you located (roughly)
