Never had feeding issues on my Alcor across like, 4 different styles of mag (5/30 Magpul P-mag, alcor’s 5/10 factory mag, a 5/10 p-mag, and all of my LAR-15 mags).
I also have the 2026 polymer one with the factory threaded muzzle so I don’t know if it came with a QC update or not. It’s Turkish so I’m still expecting something to go wrong at some point but it’s still super fun and looks great when you clap it out with Kodiak defense fitments.

I have 2 Alcors and I’ve never had a single issue with them. They are not the most accurate rifles but they scratch the itch. I wonder if I put a better barrel on them if that would help?

Recently contacted Bullseye North to change my order to the 15 inch handguard version. Very helpful - they mentioned the orders for these should be coming in mid October for them!

If you can switch back i would. You can always swap handguards later and my Gravel rep told me the 15" ones are a ways behind theirs.

The 12" ones are from Gravel and coming next month, the 15" ones are coming from North Sylva could be 150 days away according to my Gravel rep.

Which would be correct. I think the first batch was for end of September for the 12 inch. North sylva on CGN says mid October eta with all back orders filled by end of November. So 150 days seems a bit much

I think there’s definitely been done miscommunication between retailers and NS. It seems clear that the 15” and FDE will be later imports but I don’t know why a Gravel rep would know NS import timelines however I know nothing about these businesses

To be fair, that means you’d have to buy a new handguard. I’m assuming they won’t be very cheap since they are proprietary correct? And will they be abundantly stocked or scarce?
I switched my preorder with bullseye as I don’t want the 12” handguard. I’d rather have it in my hands sooner rather than later but that 18” barrel with 12” handguard just looks too silly to me.
I’m getting married next year, so if they get banned between now and 5 months from now, then i can put that cash towards the wedding lol. Bullseye only required a deposit, not the full amount so I’m okay with that. Sucks it’ll take a long time tho

I'm still going to wait for a while before I decide to buy another semiauto. Partly because my safe is full of cope guns that I can't use, and partly to wait and see if they have actually fixed the issues I've seen in the early batches.

To everyone saying "gravel rep told me this or that" lets not forget that Gravel has also been lying to store and us for months. Ive been calling them since mid summer asking for updates and they have always said something along the lines of "itll be in the next couple of weeks". So all though i do have a pre order, i dont trust any of these disti's. Worst case i get my deposit back on my 15" HG
