Buy recommendations Arken vs Bushnell warranty in Canada
I am deciding between the match pro ED 5-30 and then arken 5-25 gen2 with the TOR reticle. Im strongly leaning towards the arken as it has clearer glass, but i read somewhere that the warrenty is annoying in Canada. Which one has the better or vortex-like warranty?

I have both the older Arken Gen 2 7-35x56 and multiple Bushnells MPEDs, the Match Pro ED has much better glass.
Also, SFRC just had a Bushnell Match Pro ED sale at TACCOM, they were going for 35% off, but I think it's just a show special.
vortex-like warranty?
If you want Vortex like warranty, perhaps buy Vortex or consider TRACT which has a Canadian warehouse.

I bought an arken ep5 gen1 5-25 a while ago as well as a MPED5-30, the ep5 had same if not better glass. I bought a burris xtr3 which also had same glass as the arken gen1. So I have high expectations for the gen2. I sold my old gen1 and im selling my burris xtr3

I concur, not sure what cheesecake is talking about, ive got the gen2 ep5 7-35 and the clarity is unmatched when compared to my MPED. Im actually selling the bushnell now because of it

Imo I’d go with the Bushnell MPED over the Arken. I’ve been super happy with mine and the locking turrets are worth it. Bushnell warranty is also handled by the vendor you get it from

Seconded.
I own both. EP5 and both the MPED 3-18 and 5-30.
I prefer the Bushnell. It's lighter and the turrets aren't enormous. I also prefer the newer MPED reticle over the original (the newer being the G2i or whatever it's called). I'm probably going to sell my EP5 soon because it just hasn't been used lately.
The Arken is incredible value, especially for a bench gun. The MPED is also incredible value, and the increased price is worth it for the slightly better clarity, better reticle, and the lighter weight and slimmer turrets if you need to move around with it at all. Get what you can afford and meets your use case best.

Yeah bushnell is in a weird place. Honestly only vortex really has the vortex warranty when you get ibti the fine print.
Id go arken over bushnell, but if warranty is a major concerned id stick to either vortex or leupold in canada.

Doesn't Bushnell have a warranty center in Calgary? A few year ago I shipped a scope back to them and it was replaced within 2 weeks with a new one.

Buying products for their warranty is a paradox.
I buy expensive/reliable products so I won't need a warranty. I'm not paying more to get a worse product and a better warranty - a good warranty means more replacements which means the cost of those replacements is baked into the price you pay for the product.
