Surprised this wasn't classified as prohib, if any of you remember what happened with the Blaze-47

The Blaze case though was clearly proof pudding of the vibes based dynamics that go in to firearm classification. The new Sterling RC9 case boils down to 'make the thing less AR-whichever like and your good.'

The Blaze-47 called itself a AK47 in it's advertising and the firearms labs was like "Sure, ok, job done" and listed it as a variant.

Correct, and Murray himself stood behind the decision that "advertisements count as variants" in court lol

They've always considered how a gun as advertised as part of the classification. Once you know their rules it's not hard to navigate classification.

This does not mean I agree with their rules.

I agree. I've had some back-and-forths with them as well and was clued in on some of those unwritten rules. I don't agree with some of their rules either, but most of them makes sense.

It's still funny (and sad) to see certain manufacturers make rookie mistaked though.

And I still see people here and on Facebook saying the RCMP is on our side.

Calling this furniture "ak-type" is hilarious, considering that other than being wood, it looks nothing like an AK.

Patrolling the Nahanni almost makes you wish for a Nuclear Winter.

Cool looking but still wouldn't buy this over other 22 semi options out there

I like the changes on the gen2 Adler. If only it would accept 10/22 triggers/bolts/recoil springs , they would be incredibly sweet for the money
