Parameters: Factory Fresh high intensity testing with 500 Score 00 Buckshot.
Initial Impressions: Great build quality. Everything was tight and seemed well QC’d. Loading dummy rounds was difficult as was the unfolding of the stock, depressing the buttons takes a lot of effort.
Shoot: The Spas out of the box would not cycle Champion 7.5 Birdshot in Semi. Pump gave us no issues. We then began the burndown with a goal of 500 00 or bust. The first 3-400 rounds went flawlessly. Around 300 rounds we did notice the rear of the bolt having impact marks on the rear, exposing fresh metal. Photos of issues attached.Screws started to loosen up around 350. Muzzle break, Handguard, pistol grip and trigger pins all started vibrating loose. This will easily be fixed with lock tight as we all know needs to be done. At approximately 420-440 we started experiencing light strikes every 3-4 rounds. Resetting the trigger with a half stroke usually allowed the round to fire on the second trigger pull but this issue persisted. At 460~ rounds the magazine tube had wiggled itself loose and due to the front sling mount could not be corrected in the field.
Final impressions: I love this gun, I’ve given the whole thing a clean and proper lubrication now and will test if the light strikes continue.
Tip: The balaclavas make the stock way more tolerable .
