Buy recommendations MRA Maverick opinions?

A little bit sour’d on SIG after my latest experience (check last post if interested) however I’m still looking to get a .308

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the MRA Maverick? Is MRA’s 1MOA accuracy true?

The MRA platform is more about the familiarity of an AR style firearm without the risks of it being a semi-auto AR. They can be accurate, but I wouldn't say that that's their main selling or feature point. If you're looking for an accurate shooter that functions well, I'd suggest looking into picking up a Tikka T3X or Bergara B-14.

I thought it could be a fun cope rifle not really a precision rifle Looking for something like the Cz600 Trail but in .308 for larger game, I don’t really shoot past 200 yards currently and prefer to have something shorter and more compact than my current Model 70

As a fun cope rifle, then I think the MRAs are pretty good on the range. Like I said, the controls are AR style and I find the Renegade 12.5" to be pretty handy and fun to shoot. I don't hunt with it though, so I can't speak for how well it'll do in a hunting situation. From my experience, I honestly think a lightweight Tikka might be better if you actually plan to hunt with it.
