Gun and gear reviews My Turkish Sons
TR45 Micro just came in today, double action pull is heavy, probably needs to be broken in. Took off the cheek riser and the flip up sights that it came with.
It seems pretty solid, bought some 45 colt and 410 to give it a go soon. Hopefully the blow back of gasses isn’t too bad, I’ll remove the blast shield on the right side if it seems like it’s a bit much after a few rounds.
Imo I think it’d look so much better with a fixed z-style stock but this is cool too.

I want the sg12 instead of my absurdly expensive benelli m4... tbh... spas 12 clone is peak! Turns out selling a firearm is harder than i thought tho

are you trying to sell it for retail price or something? I'm shocked no one is looking to pick up an M4 at a 20%-30% discount to msrp

Yeah well it has some mods on it so.... ive spent 5136 building it... its been listed for 3700 for a while lmao im losing a chunk and no one seems interested

damn that's a pretty good deal if someone wants it tricked out but I bet you would sell it faster if you sold the mods individually and the shotgun separately. They are incredible shotguns.

I have an m4 clone that I bought for under $400 and while it’s definitely not as nice or reliable as the real thing it totally scratches the itch and I don’t care if it gets beat to shit

Yeah im weird i guess... my first gun ever was that m4 and i just went all in on the gun of my dreams but that opened the door to the hobby. Now the itch is in many places

I get that, I’ve been looking for a larger caliber lever gun to scratch my next itch

Niiiice... i definitely want a big boy lever one day but for now i have my grandads .22 winchester 1894.... little bit more wallet friendly to shoot than a 45-70

Both really sweet guns. When my 90 year old neighbour moment into a retirement home he sold me his old ‘57 Marlin Levermatic mag fed 22LR for $100. An absolute steal

Yeah thats wild.... my grandfather gave me 3 guns, the lever, an engraved ithaca 12g and a lil .270 bolt action that was in pretty rough shape but free is free... ive got a 590s shockwave and an sks to top all that so as the collection is growing and wants to grow more this m4 is not gonna survive the expansion lol

If you manage to sell the m4 then that’s just free money for more guns 🤷♂️

Selling your first gun will be your biggest regret who cares if you have 4k wrapped up in it

Removing the blast shield on the right definitely helps! I wonder how the 410 will do! I imagine the birdshot will kinda donut out in a spiral, but then again, with such a shirt barrel maybe it won't! It would be awesome if it could shoot birdshot as well as the Long colt and 410 slugs
Wonder how easy with would be to attach a pic Rail adaptor to the buffer tube and put a fixed Z stock. I agree it would look really cool. If it's at least as long as the Normal stock, should be good and legal

If I were to buy one of these the hacksaw in my shed would whisper unspeakable things to me

Is your stock release tight as fuck? Mine is wicked. Trying to figure out how to get that bitch to loosen up a bit lol

Talking about the sg-12 right? Mines pretty loose now, I’ve played with them a whole lot, not smashing my thumbs anymore trying to fold the stock anymore lol. The other button to fold the metal stock butt-end used to be almost impossible to fold without using the hook to push it down but it’s now at a point I can just use my thumbnail with no issue. One thing that might have helped the most was keeping the buttons depressed, like folding it but not all the way so the buttons are always under compression under the stamped steel for a few mins before locking into place lol.
