Misc Mods and others: question about the rules here
Hey, mods please help me out. Are we allowed to call out scalpers by (user) name here? Specifically talking about gunpost.
Parasites should be shamed publicly in my opinion.
I use gunpost a lot. Some of the posts and prices I see are friggin wild.
Can we as a community do something about this?

I would assume most people who come to this sub already know about the scalper situation and thus wouldn't fall victim to the scalpers. The ones who are buying from scalpers aren't here so naming and shaming here means nothing. That being said, I don't see a problem but I'm sure the mods will.
Edit: just for giggles I checked and norinco Redbox 7.62 500 rounds for $450. Lol. If they can get a sucker to buy....more power to them.

If people didn't buy guns at inflated prices, there wouldn't be scalpers. It's part of a free market.
If you don't like the price, move on to the next post. Pretty simple concept.

Yeah i can't believe the amount of crying I've seen in this sub recently over scalpers, i dont support them either but cmon its part of supply & demand of a free market nothing you say or post here will change that. Id say its just a buncha salty guys who didnt get the gun they wanted in time.

i agree with the crying over scalpers, money is money
but the tards who keep listing their items for 200% over market value deserve the hate, making a profit at fair market value is fine
its obnoxious seeing the "i know what i got" fudd boomers or braindead scalper whos supply is overcharging for the demand hence why it never sells and keeps getting relisted

Lmfao buddy trying to white knight scalpers on GP is comical. Its basic supply & demand of a free market, why stop at gp? You should hit ebay and market place while your at it for the scalpers of all kinds of products.

Not even supply and demand really. It’s the basic human right of an individual to deal with their goods however they want. Should “the government” be assigning pricing for firearms?

How is it not supply and demand? Importer/distributor runs out of said item, ppl who own this item recognize that many people still want said item but supply can't meet demand... there for driving the price of said item upwards. Its basic economics.

No do not bring other site drama here. We don't have time to field complaints from users outside of here or suss out what is legit or not on GP or CGN or any other place. You can shitpost about a bad price but specifically calling out a user or transaction is just creating something we have no control over.
After a recent GP blowup we added this to rule 9
