Misc Got my temporary transportation seal but … ASFCP label already affixed
So the boxes came WITH the ASFCP final label already affixed and not covering the shipping label of the boxes (I have 2 firearms in the program).
The temporary transport seal are not to be used to cover the boxes’ shipping labels? See the content that came with each box in the picture.

Your argument is invalid, the government isn’t just “not perfect”, they have repeatedly lied to citizens about the gun buyback and refuse to listen to experts, constituents, statistics or common sense. You heard the public safety tell one of his tenants that the whole buyback is bullshit, and that if he had any say it wouldn’t have moved forward.
If the public safety minister has no say in this, then it has to be the PM pushing for this. So I emailed the PM, and the response I got was that the buyback wasn’t the PMs responsibility, and that it was the Public Safety Ministers responsibility.
So I emailed the Public Safety minister and got no response…
This government is completely back asswards, they are purposefully misleading citizens into believing that this is a public safety issue, when it is solely an effort to disarm their political opponents. Criminals cannot participate in the buyback, so not a single gun that would have been used for crime will be bought back. It is solely disarming legal gun owners who went through the correct legal process, waited months for their licenses and then bought the guns with hard earned, legal money.

My wife and you are both correct!
I am just saying that we can all do what you did and also vote and at the end of the day we are living with imperfection. NOT giving excuses to government regardless of (which country we are citizens of) how we are holding the government accountable.
The hundreds of millions of dollar can be of better use in fighting for better control on illegal firearms.
Found out about the June 9, 2026 court challenge and extension after I posted this but I still own other firearms and we all still need improvements with illegal firearms.

It's a non issue they can reprint final stickers + declarations/claim info on-site at your appointment anyways hope you profit off your turn ins bud because that's all this joke of a buyback is good for

YMMV but the labels did not matter at all when I did the drop off. They verify them on site immediately. I also did not attach the labels that the instructions say you need to fill in with a pen.

Put it this way, I don’t support the program at all but as a result of this program, I only managed less than 1,000 rounds on each. So call me lame or whatever. I will get back inside when time and regulations permits.

Their deadline for submission was March … I have not use those firearms enough as they were purchased new in 2018/2019 … had less than 500 rounds on each of them. I still have other use of my existing ammo with other firearms. Short version is I am not shooting much as life turns on me. So no intention to support them to begin with but you can all have whatever interpretation you want.

Not that anyone would genuinely care … I won’t make a judgment on what others may or may not do to their own property but if you mean come back as in posting here in this sub-Reddit - sure. You can make a judgement beyond my own on whether I am happily back or not.
I may spend more time on golf regardless.
That said, I mean getting back inside as in buying the 2 firearms again with my licence and hopefully a newer model. I still own other firearms so I have to renew my licence just like everyone here.

Because weak citizens such as yourself, participating in a property grab scheme, gives them numbers to justify it.
By turning in your rifle, you've agreed that you/your rifles are a danger to public safety.
Elbows up and dont forget to say "thank you daddy" when it comes time to turn in your property.
