My scout rifle tism is going full reee at the claim that this is a scout rifle, but it is absolutely fucking gorgeous and I am indeed jealous of its beauty

I suppose it wouldn’t be a scout rifle because of the calibre, but the rest of the recipe is there?

My apologies

I'm sure a true jeff cooper purist would have a list of reasons it isnt a "true scout rifle," but the only thing I think it's really lacking is a larger caliber, and maybe some magnification. A magnifier would go hard as fuck on this beauty

I have a magnifier, maybe I should put it on, I’m trying keep it light.

Edit: spelling

Weight is definitely a valid concern. You might find that the added weight of a magnifier or lpvo is worth the added versatility at range, especially since it's a bolt action .223 and precise shot placement matters a bit more
