Good day, looking to pu my second toy and wondering what people’s thoughts are on 12-16 or 18 for accuracy and ergonomics?

The only thing with the c22 I’m concerned about is the mag situation because I’m not sure what that will be like. I also hope it has a bolt hold open would be nice.
Looks like it will take normal ruger 10/22 mags as well as a proprietary mag to avoid the limit because of the Ruger Charger pistol. I'd say that's the best of both worlds
It seems real neat, and I’d deffo be interested in seeing one being field stripped, but the chassis design I saw so far looks kind of Kral to me and that’s a slight put off.
I feel like it rlly just comes down to preference in aesthetics and if you want space for few attachments . I personally think the 16 inch is the perfect sweet spot. But between 12-18 inch barrel up to 100 yards I don’t think their would too much of a noticeable difference in terms of accuracy.
Wanted to add, with a 16 inch, you might be able to add a folding stock while keeping it longer than 26 Inches. With a 12, no such luck, you gotta go fixed stock otherwise it will be too short
It does not matter much. You wont use your 22lr more than 100 yards on TM22. Get the barrel length which you like the look most. I love rocking my 16 with faux suppressor.
TM22 will have drum mags by the end of October fyi
Good thing your going metal, but be prepared for some tinkering or warranty. Mine never ran right out the box.
Depending on where you are, your probably gonna have to ship for warranty on your own dime to SFRC in ON.
Not wanting to part with it for an unknown period of time, I decided to work on it myself.
Not to shit on Derya, but it will either work, or it won't and then it's do you now want to pay $100 extra to ship out to ON (from AB anyway) on a $500 gun
I’ve got an OG 18” metal one and other than the odd stovepipe it’s flawless. Doesn’t like the shitty Winchester white box ammo at all but that’s whatever. Things a tack driver at 75 yards
That’s the farthest I’ve taken it out to. Only have a 1-6 on it and my eyesight isn’t the greatest so it gets a little blurry. It’ll be my squirrel gun this season lol
I've got a 16 inch version and its fun for what it is.
Not nearly as accurate as my mostly stock 10/22, but with a red dot up to 50 yards its good. Just do some research on them, there's some stupid little issues with em you gotta work through.
As someone else mentioned, there's a new one coming out that you should check out on some of the threads here. Canuck C22. Looks pretty interesting.
I have the 12” pro and its pretty fun, only had it out once at range for 200 rd, only a couple light strikes, no jams. Was getting tight groupings at 25m with a red dot

Id be waiting on that new c22 from canuck at this point. Take down pins for cleaning got me feeling a type o way
