Fix my gun TM22 left extractor removal

Does anyone have a video or some good pictures for exactly what I'm supposed to do for this modification? I got mine used and it jams all the time I thought they were all like that but I've seen removing the left extractor can help cycling. I heard all I need is an Allen key and a punch but I don't want to punch a wrong hole by accident lol

You are not punching a hole anywhere. The punch is needed to extract a small pin that holds the extractor.

There's a video on YouTube of it... But all you are doing is taking the top rail off removing the spring and rod on top of the bolt and then removing the bolt. The left side extractor is on the opposite side to the ejection port. You need a 1/8 punch and a rubber mallet.

The alternative is keep shootin and eventually it breaks off on its own.

Oh wow I didn't realize it was so easy to take apart. Mine is filthy inside. Hopefully a good clean along with removing the extractor will help with my issues

I would definitely clean the inside and bolt before removing the extractor. There's tear down videos on YouTube and cleaning tutorials. Sounds like your gun is just dirty. They should be cleaned before being fired when new as mfg oil in the gun is quick to gunk up.

I paid $200 for it used. It looked good from the outside but yeah I wouldn't be surprised if this was the first time it's ever been opened up for cleaning
