Fix my gun Gunsmith in Nova Scotia?

I bought my son an older rifle online from General gun in Feb to use hunting. It was a 1960's Savage 110L.

We finally had time to get out and sight it in... or so we thought.

Visually the firearm looked fine before we used it and we gave it a light cleaning. However we only got 1 shot off and the casing won't eject.

It's a old rifle, but he really likes it and I'm hoping we can get it repaired.

Any suggestions for gun smiths?

You might be better off just buying another rifle. Unless the gunsmith is very cheap, it might not be worth repairing. Also depends how fast they can fix it.

. Lots of choices floating around the $400-800 mark, used and new. But you'll have to decide as idk how much ammo you've already got or if there's sentimental value, etc.

No sentimental value. I've kicked that can around too. He's a lefty so less options available. That said we have enough rifles/shotguns he is accustomed to using, and not like he will have time to take a 2nd shot before they take off.

I sent you a PM, I'm not selling anything just a heads up, just a link to something you may find interesting.
