Buy recommendations 10rd Magazines (not pinned)
I picked up a Henry Supreme not long ago and now I’m wondering if I can get 10 round magazines since it’s a lever action, not a semi auto. Are 10rd pmags legal and where would I look for them?
Edit:
Follow-up question: what’s the legality of just removing the pin of the 5/10 mag it came with?
Edit edit: got it. Don’t remove the pin

You cannot remove the pin, regardless of what gun you are using the mags in.
You must buy Lar-15 mags if you want 10 rounds legally. Lar-15 mags are pistol mags that will fit your rifle.

grab yourself some cross mags. They don’t make them anymore but there are still a lot floating around out there. 10 round capacity and also allows 2 to be clipped together for faster reload

They would need to be pistol mags. I’d look up cross mags or LAR pistol mags. I definitely recommend cross mags because you get 2 for 1.
I think marstar still has some, I’d be quick bc they don’t produce them anymore

10/20 LAR mags would probably be the way to go

I wouldn’t recommend de pinning your mag if you ever get checked you’ll be in big trouble find an lar pistol mags legal 10 rounds. I have a few c products steel ones and a mft pistol mags all work great. id like to find a couple more mft pmags

A cop or a co. Is a few extra rounds worth your hobby? If anything Canadians should be be way better at mag changes than Americans lol

Removing the pin turns your mags into a prohibited device. If caught, you will get the book thrown at you, and you're gonna have a really bad time.
LAR-15 pistol mags are crimped to 10. You can find them in 10/10, 10/20 and 10/30 configuration.

They wont be because they are designed for AR /semi auto, you can get lar for pistols though which are 10 but most will be pinned to 5

Lar mags aren't usually pinned to 5. They're made for AR pistols, they can be made to hold 10. I have yet to see a Canadian LAR mag that didn't hold 10.

Which is what I said. LAR is 10, but most ‘stanag’ mags or pmags will be 5

There are plenty of good 10rd options. Crossmags are great, they are discontinued so get them while you can. I have also used 10rd C-products defence and Mission First Tactical 10rd mags.

Lever actions are unlimited BUT since you're using AR mags, you're limited to what they can have. Pmags and other stanag mags will be pinned to 5, lar mags (like cross mags) will be designed to only hold 10 and you can legally use them in your henry.
