I don’t know if this is the right answer non resident fishing brings in a lot of money.

Just what the government needs, more money. Our resources are for our citizens, not rich foreigners.

I get where your coming from. But it brings money to restaurants, bars, stores etc in nearby areas to the outfitter. Also provides jobs to Canadians as guides, maintenance and services for outfitters.
