How's your experience been with the Henry Homesteader? Ill be getting my PAL this fall and have been looking at getting one. I've heard that it can be sort of unreliable.
Ive had the glock magwell adapter crack twice, both times henry warranty sent me a new in around a month. Dealing with the canadian warranty provider for henry was amazing, he replied to my email in under 20 minutes. We spoke on the phone the second time and he told me he has only seen this issue a few times since the gun was released. He called the U.S henry warranty provider and they said they've never seen it happen twice to one person and not many happen at all. So idk, I didnt do anything other than shoot it normally or mag dump it sometimes. The good thing is if the glock magwell adapter breaks I just use the henry one instead but it only takes 5 rounds and I only have one mag. But other than that, ive never had a jam or misfire or any other issue.
Other than that I love the gun, its fun to shoot steel with. Ive probally shot about 1000 rounds through it.
I’ve had mine for about four months now. It shoots very smoothly, and I’ve put over 2,000 rounds through it without any issues at all. I’ve been very happy with it
