Buy recommendations Quality of new Henry lever actions

I’m considering picking up a new Henry 30-30 for a bush gun, I’m interested to hear anyone’s thoughts on the new Henry’s quality, reliability etc.

Better to buy new? Or better off finding a good condition older model.

My .44 is about 2 years old. Several hundred rounds through it now and it runs like new. Some people have complained about fairly minor fit and finish issues but I haven't seen any myself. I know a few others locally with new-ish Henrys and they don't have a single complaint.
