My local store has some Federal AutoMatch on sale that works out to like 0.08 a round.

I was a member of a club that would charge $5 per round of trap and that included the ammo.

Were they? How much is that after inflation? 50 rimfire rounds can be had for $6 today, so if those were bought earlier than 2002, they were actually more expensive than today.

honestly not thaaat great, my grandpa used to buy them in the 70s/80s for like 0.25$ a box of 100 if I recall.

That's 7 cents a round.....now 22LR can be found for 9 cents a round easily. 22LR hasn't increased that much since then tbh.
