Funny, you went to a machnisit and got a wannabe lawyers opinion instead.

Will you be finding a different company to do your milling? Personally I would, if they dont know the laws but want to act like they do I doubt everything will turn out propperly. Theyll be too busy second guessing you.

It was pretty funny, one reason they gave me was that my part could be modified and made illegal. I was like, you can pretty much do that for anything, but we don't do that because it is illegal?

I had origianlly gone to them to see if they would recommend roughing out the internals then using a sinker EDM to clean up the corners or just a small endmill to clean up after roughing. They informed me a lot of the space is just for clearance and weight reduction so to save money, just mill it out.

To my suprise after they saw my solid model and blueprint, they asked if I wanted to get into this sort of field and recommended I apply are their company when I graduate.
