It seems to shoot a lot of ammo fine, I've had good luck with Federal Automatch and of course CCI MiniMags.

So far mine doesn't seem to care between stingers, federal blue box and whatever white box my buddy fed it. Heard a lot of good things about mini mag from CCI for any semi auto 22 though

Anything heavy enough atleast 38-40grain and round nose no hollow points. Needs atleast 1000+ fps to cycle smoothly

It depends on the firearm tbh, 22lr is an odd duck where it varies from rifle to rifle.

Cci mini mag and eley force run fine. The high velocity stuff is what you'll want.

Exactly this. 22lr rifles range pretty wildly in their preference for ammo even from gun to gun from the same manufacturer coming off the same line. Buy a sampler of a half dozen kinds from your local shop, test for reliability, buy in bulk on sale.

Typically, for the semi autos, at least one kind of CCI will work well: Mini mags, blazer, standard velocity. Would recommend trying both the 36 and 40gr mini mags, ive run across guns that will eat one and not the other, for whatever reason. That said, last I checked CCI wasnt being imported right now so depending on how much you shoot finding something else that will cycle may be wise as well.

Norma Tac22 is pretty solid as well and seems to go on sale a lot. Federal 40gr copper plated is good in my testing as well.

Best bet is to buy a few boxes and test em all out. See what runs best in it. .22s can be really ammo picky haha. Mine eats anything I've put in it, except federal blue box bulk so far.

I bought a tm22 feather on the first run, I also bought 1000 rds of Aguila HP

Didn’t clean the rifle, and amazingly had zero failures through every round. 25tnd mags only, finished off the last bag in like a month.

I think I got very lucky tho

I usually buy CCI mini mag 40 grain but can’t find it lately, I tried the CCI AR tactical 22 and it worked just as well!

The thing is great but usually issues are because something is wrong from factory. Mine had lots of issues. Guy I bought it from said it was "picky about ammo". It was not

Trigger wouldn't reset and light strikes on any shot that wasn't manually charged. Odell fixed it when they handled warranty. Told me he had to mill the bolt face as it was able to sit on the rim of cartridge in a way that it would light straight. Ever since I got it back I runs like a top.

buy a few 50 and 100rd packs of diffrent kinds and go with whatever ends up being the cheapest once that cycles it reliably. dont need to immediately jump to paying for cci 22

Mine hates cheap federal bulk ammo. CCI Blazer will get failures around 1/50. I’ve had really good experience using Aguila super high velocity. Several range sessions without failures.

I know a lot of people are recommending the minimag, but the standard velocity runs fine enough for me, only giving me one to two issues every few hundred to close to a thousand rounds (and it’s a quick fix too, just rack the bolt for stove pipe or didn’t feed). Idk, it’s so much cheaper that I’ll just deal with those super easy to fix things

Today I shot 300 rounds of mini mag round nose with two fail to feed and I just reloaded and shot them. I switched to minimag hollow point and I stopped after 30 rounds because every other round was failing. Always caught in the mag and smashed by the bolt.
