And this is exactly what I complained about being a Tactical Imports exclusive... You get a bunch of greedy retarded assholes who dropped tens of thousands on the credit card to buy an absurd amount of these shotguns so they're out of stock, like they did with the Type 81, then turn around to rip people off by selling it at 2x MSRP...
Guys... DO NOT BUY FROM THESE ASSHOLES. Unlike the T81, Sulun Arms is still making the SPAS-12 so more will come.

Type81SA production was heavily reliant on military contracts for regular Type81 Assault Rifles. At the time, they were no new T81SAs being made/sold because military procurement of T81s were stagnant.
The 81/81M/LMG is still an T81SA and was still dependant on military production of their full-auto counterparts, for Poly Technologies to also make semi-auto (SA) variants of the T81. The 81M (especially fixed stock) was sold out way before it was prohib and TI couldn't procure new SA/SR's as PolyTech didn't have any to sell, before they became prohibited.
I heard the story about how they procure these guns. I cant tell if another shippment was coming or not. I know the sr and lmg were sitting on shelf for a long time and were sold with a heavy discount at aome point.
From what I recall they were still coming batch at about 6-10 months interval and tooks many weeks before being sold out (excluding the 81m batch)
I also remember that sa were selling below msrp at some point (probably prior the latest big ban) cause that when I got mine.
For a long time they were look down as poor man option like the sks.
"I see people selling them for $2000, so I'll go off that." Posts it for $2500.. Mate, that's 25% more.. Get your head out of your ass.. They're only $999 through tactical imports... $2k is already double the retail value..
Reminds me of the dick head that bought 6 tavor as soon as they were back in stock at Flaherty. Then listed all of them on gunpost for $800 more. And then the ban hit lol.

The moderators can moderate fraudulent posts but they're not appraisers so it's beyond their pay grade to decide what's over fair market value. It's OUR job to shame these sellers.
Ontario? Wait what? The seller Tactical Imports is literally based in Ontario. To their credit they're more than a simple drop-shipper. That is, they get stuff at their Ontario location first for a quick inspection and repackaging. Admittedly it's also necessary when they fill orders in "combos" (e.g. the gun is supposed to come as a package with two free mags, someone bought the extra holster option with extra pic rail).
EDIT: OK I may be wrong... I swear I remember getting a TI track from Ontario where they're officially based.
Its like you guys are all new to supply and demand. Dont get me wrong im not supporting scalpers or suggesting anyone buy at these prices but its really not that surprising... the more you guys keep posting about it the more attention it brings to these ads and helps them sell, perpetrating the behavior
Famous for being in some great movies and video games. Lots of new pal owners and nothing cool / expensive to buy. Too much demand and too little supply
Semi automatic and pump. This is the clone but the real firearm is Iconic its been in jurassic Park, other movies / video games. Military and law enforcement agencies have used it.
I also collect Pokemon cards (don’t judge me, my collection has gone up about 20x in value over the last 10 years) and you see the same thing - guys go into a Walmart and empty the shelves at retail prices. Then they trickle out sales listings on marketplace or in FB groups at 2-3x retail. Some people praise the hustle, others despise the pieces of shit for jacking up prices while adding no value whatsoever to the transaction. People can blame the buyers or the scalpers - but it will continue as long as it is profitable. The only effective strategy I have seen is retail limits that prevent the initial bulk buy. Some asshat trying to buy 20x copies of a shotgun could be shut down by the retailer just like the stores that don’t let a guy leave with 50x boxes of an in-demand Pokemon product.
There is lots of blame to go around in this situation.
Supply and demand. Instead of seething and refreshing gunpost every 5 min in the hope of magicaly snatching one at msrp, just wait about 3 months and hope that TI import enough.

I bought one without the intend to sell, but I wont lie that its tempting for 2k. Then ill wait a couple of months and buy another one, and the gun will have cost me almost nothing because I was willing to wait.
Im still mad at that I didnt get that 1000$ early type 99 with intact mum, dust cover, AA sight, monopod, and sling. The ad was up for 5 min and someone reply 1 min earlier. I offer more than double to the seller but he already closed the deal and was a man of his word. Kuddo to him.
These guys are providing a service. At the moment, if you really want one of these, and money ain't no thang to you, then this is the only place where you can get one. This is the market doing what the market does. If you don't like the price, you don't have to pay it. Just wait for supply to catch up.
They're literally $999 at tactical imports. It's scalpers buying up supply, so they can sell at 150% markup on gunpost. It's not supply and demand, it's scumbag scalpers fucking over people who don't know the actual MSRP of firearms. They're manipulating the supply, and charging more than double what things are worth.
It would be like cleaning out a car dealership and then listing all the cars at 150% of their value. People who know the value of cars would just go to a different dealer, and shop around checking the average prices and values. Scalpers are hoping that some poor schmuck with a big wad of birthday money sees this on gunpost before realizing that sulun has started manufacturing a "SPAS" valued at only $1k.
So im a bit curios on what makes people drive themselves to make the prices so high with little modifications ? On tactical imports they go for $999 plus taxes. Why?
It's a scalpper attitude, driven by greed/money. 20 assholes with credit card limits over 10,000+ basically buy all the stock to the point that sells out and more if you want a SPAS, you have to buy it from them for 2-2.5x MSRP
Seems like your mad cause you dont have the credit score or credit card or financial means to get one...laugh all you want this one in question sold for that amount so laugh all you want that guy is laughing all the way to the bank
