Meet up Am I crazy

How batshit crazy would I be if I posted on Reddit asking to borrow someone’s Sks to take shooting for my birthday

I tried posting asking for people with different guns to come shooting with me and I’d pay for ammo but to no avail.

I had 1 prospect but they ghosted me after I tried to lock in plans.

Yeah that sounds sketchy as shit. Just go to a range and rent one if you want to shoot it

Sadly the range here doesn’t rent guns and has a brutal membership wait list

Are you a PAL holder? I wouldn't trust a random person from reddit shooting my guns even if I was supervising.

PAL holder and shooter for more than 20 years. Most of my guns are out of province since I moved. Just have a .12 gauge and .22 and I’m looking for a medium caliber to shoot as well.

Used to own 2 Sks but sold them in 2015 before I realized they’d be worth a small fortune

Ok so then move all your guns to your new residence. You should be doing this anyways if you just changed address according to the RCMP.

They currently reside at my parents house as I don’t have adequate storage when I moved here. Now I’m looking at shipping costs etc.

My father has about 30 rifles all locked away so they’re in good hands.

Try Gunpost, can get them for 3/4 of that price easy...even better deals if you are patient. It's not all "$3000 Chinese SKS I know wut I dun got".

In a perfect world, you have a great plan. Couple guys going out shooting, having a good time.

Unfortunately this world has gone bat shit crazy and putting trust in someone to go shooting with, has become unrealistic

Urban tactical in Brantford and range 519 in Cambridge both have rental packages.

They cost an arm and a leg though.

Should’ve never sold mine back in 2015.
