Misc S&W 1854 extended recoil pad

1; has anyone been able to get on these in Canada? My
Local dealer said they’re importer doesn’t list it. I figured I’d ask around before trying to get them to special order it

2; Would shipping this within the USA and going to pick it up myself be an option? I know crossing the border with fire arm components can get complicated. I know it’s just a harmless piece of rubber and plastic but I’d like to avoid any hassle if possible.

  2. Wouldn't fuck around with that mate unless the process was crystal fucking clear.

Can you purchase it online and have it shipped to your Canadian address? If yes, do that. Pay whatever duties are incurred and you're golden. Otherwise, go back to step one and see if your dealer can import it.

Not sure about S&W but companies like Henry and Ruger just ship whatever accessories you buy and you're good. It'll get stuck in Customs jail for up to a few months but fuck it, it's the price we pay as snow Mexicans.

As an aside, do aftermarket companies offer something similar that you're after? Limbsaver, Pachmyer, etc. Might be worthwhile to look around if you can't get the one you're after now. Worth a shot anyway.
